"Nine to five" in the same day is a period of eight hours.

Regarding paid time, it could be 7 hours, 71/2 hours, or 8 hours, depending on

how much unpaid time is taken for breaks, lunch etc.

4 hours

If it takes 10 electricians to get the job done in 6 hours how many electrician will it take to complete the job in 4 hours?

It should take 15 electricians provided that two unlikely conditions are satisfied:all electricians work at exactly the same rate, andthe job contains no parts which are time-dependent. For example, if an instalment must be tested for 5 hours, then even infinitely many electricians will not do the job in 4 hours.

How many hours does a first year apprentice pipefitter in Chicago get and is it a 40 hrs a week job?

It depends on what contractor you work for. And from there, what type of job is being done. 40 hours a week is normally a minimum.

Worker A can complete a job in 20 hours and worker B can complete a job in 25 hours if both workers work together how long will it take them to complete the job?

The way to calculate this is to figure out what fraction each does in an hour (1/20 of the job, vs. 1/25 of the job). Add the fractions together to see how much they do together in an hour, then take the reciprocal to find out how many hours it takes them.
