However, 1 lap = 2 lengths

38 laps exactly! Each mile has 4 quarters, thus: > 9 miles have 9 × 4 = 36 laps > a half mile has ½ × 4 = 2 laps for a total of 38 laps

There is 1,609.344 metres in a mile, so to swim one mile in a 25 metre pool you would have to do 64.37 lengths or laps.
You can do this using two ways: 1. convert 1.5km to m i.e = 1500m. Hence # laps = 1500/25 = 60 laps or 2. convert 25 m into km i.e = 0.025. Hence # laps = 1.5/0.025 = 60 laps
I mile = 5280 feet. So 2.4 miles = 12672 feet. At 40 feet per lap you would need to swim 12672/40 = 316.8 laps, or nearly 317 laps.
42 (42*2*25= 2,100yds = 1.19mi)
1 mile = 1609m. 1609 m / 20 m / lap = 80.5 laps.
64.37376 lengths to be exact. So in other words 32.1870 laps. Have fun buddy.
since 1 meter is equal to 1.094 yards, then one lap (one direction) in a 25 meter pool is really 27.35 yards. So then 500 yards at 27.35 yards a lap, you would need to complete a little more than 18 and a quarter laps (18.2815 to be more accurate).
