Since the two numbers are the same, there is really no number that is strictly "between" them.In general, to calculate a number that is between two DIFFERENT numbers, just take the average of the two numbers. That will get you the number which is right in the middle between the two - which is just one of infinitely many numbers between them.

How do you convert 0.012 into a fraction?

12 over 1000 (.1 is 1/10 .01 is 1/100 and .001 is 1/1000) If you multiply .012 by 1000 you will get 12 (a whole number without a remainder.)
