A score means 20, just like a dozen means 12. ANSWER This is found in Numbers 1:27 "Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred." One score is 20 as the above answerer has stated. The "and's" in the equation simply mean to add them together. threescore (20x3) and (+) 14,000 and (+) 600. This would be a total of = 74,600 total men from 20 years of age and up that were counted able to go to war, from the tribe of Judah.
The term "threescore" literally means three times 20 (which is a "score" in old English). So it actually means 1260 days. This means it is 3 1/2 years of 360 days (or a prophetic year) for each year.

Yes. Genesis 5:27 reads as follows: "And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years." Threescore and fifteen = 60 + 15 = 75.

I want to know where in the Bible it tells of how many years a person is guaranteed. I believe it is threescore and ten but I think there are several references to that answer.
Threescore and ten years appears 4 times in the Bible. The passage that I like is: 10. The days of our years [are] threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength [they be] fourscore years, yet [is] their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. (Psalm 90)
