Hi, I cant see what date this question was asked on, so Im not sure if an answer is still needed, but: I just needed to find the answer to a similar question and came across this site: http://forum.onlineconversion.com/showthread.php?t=8307 It shows that 1ml of milk or cream is equal to about 1 gram. Handy eh?
500mL is equal to about 16.9 US fluid ounces.
Full mass = 52.2 kgEmpty mass = 3.64 kgFull mass = (MT mass) + (water mass)52.2 = (3.64) + (water mass)Water mass = 52.2 - 3.64 = 48.56 kg
In order to find out how many grams is in 500ml, one must have a measurement of density available. If density is not known, it can be found by finding the volume of the substance in ml, finding mass in grams, and dividing mass by volume. From there, multiply the result by 500ml to find the amount of grams in 500ml of the substance.
500g = 500ml of water, since 1L of water weighs 1kg at normal atmospheric pressure at mean sea level
Volume = mass/volume = 500g/10cm3 = 50g/cm3
Well it depends what your measuring If its water then 1ml is equal to 1g so the answer is 500g of water in 500ml, but it depends on the density of the material, but most liquids (eg milk) are close enough to water
im guessing about 500g worth?
500ml is 0.5Litres, approx. a medium sized water botttle.
Assuming that it is a half litre bottle of water, the water would have a mass of 500g so the bottle would have a mass of 95g. However it might be a pint bottle of water, in which case the water would have a mass of 568g, leaving the bottle with a mass of 27g.
