Flasher relay is located right above the OBD port. This relay has a dual functions all in one relay. It controls the emergency flashers and the turn signals as well. It's a very complex relay because it actually has a micro chip inside of it!!! That's pretty complex for a simple relay if you ask me. So turn on the signals or flashers hopefully one function still works because yes one function can be inoperative and other work fine. You should hear it clicking behind the dash a little right of the instrument cluster. You can get to it from under the dash just be careful because their are 2 relays right next to each other and the one you want is the BLUE one. NOT the black one. If you opt to do it up to the dash and radio will have to be removed to gain complete access.
The block heater connection is on the passenger side of the block, just above the freeze plugs, you will need the cable that runs out to the grill/bumper. Every newer diesel has this heater just some were not equipped with the cable, it is an option.
Hope this helps.

I suppose you could wire your fuel pump directly to the keyed side of the fuse box.
Ford E-series vans have a pigtail in the wire harness tucked beneath the drip rail
in the engine compartment. There's a marked speed wire there - grey/black, 8000ppm.
A running or going out or forth; an expedition; a sally., A journey chiefly for recreation; a pleasure trip; a brief tour; as, an excursion into the country., A wandering from a subject; digression., Length of stroke, as of a piston; stroke. [An awkward use of the word.]
That would depend on which engine you have in your 2003 Ford Excursion :
The 7.3 liter diesel engine doesn't use any spark plugs
The 5.4 liter V8 engine has ( 8 spark plugs )
The 6.8 liter V10 engine has ( 10 spark plugs )
Just go and buy a new one. They don't cost that much and are located under the dash on the brake pedal arm.
2 wheel drive with standard suspension ( 98.6 liters / 26 U.S. gallons )
2 wheel drive with rear air suspension ( 113.6 liters / 30 U.S. gallons )
4x4 ( 113.6 liters / 30 U.S. gallons )
You can view the 2001 Ford Excursion owners manual online at :

( the fuses and relays section starts on page 149 , the manual has the diagram and list for the fuse panel , but for the Power Distribution Box located in the engine compartment it only has the list , no diagram )
take the lower kick panel off under the steering wheel and on the right side look up by the heater box there is a bracket with 3 different relays mounted to it.
