H2O: Just Add Water is an Australian TV series that is about 3 young girls (Emma, Rikki and Cleo) who journey to a mysterious island called Mako Island on the night of a Full Moon and upon their dip into the island's moon pool, they turn into mermaids. Now as half human/half mermaid beings, they have to continue with their normal lives while trying to keep their mermaid part a secret.

This is how you make a mermaid tail.First,if you have long pyjama bottoms,you must put two legs intto one of the holes.Second,wrap the other half of the pyjama bottoms round your waist andtuck it in at the back.Third,just stretch you feet out at the bottom,and waddle like a penguin,or you if you have a monofin or any flippers you could cover them in nylon,but you don't have to.And that is how you make an easy mermaid tail.

No, for several reasons.
- There is no real place called Mako Island in Australia. It is a film set on Queensland's Gold Coast.
- There are no such things as mermaids. As much as it is nice to believe in a fantasy world, the myth of mermaids is believed to come from sailors sighting dugong in ocean waters. And dugong are not the most attractive creatures, so you would probably not want to be one.
- Mako Island involves a volcano. There are no active or even dormant volcanoes in Australia, have not been for thousands of years, nor are there likely to be any time in the near future.

50 years ago there were 3 other mermaids, and Lewis tracks down Max Hamilton, who knew the 3 original mermaids and was in love with Gracie. Gracie was the mermaid who lost the necklace that Emma found in the Moon Pool. Apparently, Gracie was Charlotte's grandmother, and Charlotte is obsessed with finding out everything she can about Gracie. Lewis discovers that Charlotte had been covering up the truth that her grandmother was a mermaid, and Charlotte leaves to find the Moon Pool. When she discovers it she too becomes a mermaid, and Emma, Rikki and Cleo grudgingly accept her but they make it clear that this relationship cannot last.

No. The show ended after Season Three, however a spin off series was created called Mako Mermaids.
