When we say related literature, we are pertaining to written informations about a certain subject of interest which will include those of the books, journals, articles, and internet resources. While when we say related studies, these are focused on the discussion regarding a certain phenomena that could be testable descriptively or experimentally, so it's not just based on information but through inferences.

How important is environment of all stakeholders of the school in the school' programs and activities?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Family and society involvement is a powerful influence on the success of the school's programs and activities. When families are involved in school's programs and activities, they can help in giving brilliant ideas on how the programs and activities be more intellectual. Their outmost support can make their children cooperate well in school. They can also help in covering the little some of expenses in the programs and activities. The school budget is barely enough to cover core academic programs. Very little is left for enrichment programs and many times are left out of the budget. In addition of paying for programs, maintenance and upgrades for the schools are rarely covered by the school's budget. Many times, schools manage to maintain their facilities by support and donations from the community. This also helps to make the children more interested in their studies and demonstrate more positive attitudes and behaviors. For these reasons, increasing family involvement in school is an important goal for schools, particularly those serving low-income and other students at risk of failure.

There are suggested ways on how schools, families, and communities can work together to build strong partnerships to make the school the best environment next to home. It is organized around strategies for overcoming common barriers to family involvement in schools. These strategies include:

  • Overcoming time and resource constraints.
  • Providing information and training to parents and school staff.
  • Restructuring schools to support family involvement.
  • Bridging school-family differences.
  • Tapping external supports for partnerships.

What are the role of students in managing the disaster in the or neighourhood?

User Avatar

Asked by SilkyKaur

Students have a major role to play in managing disasters. They can:

  • Spread awareness about disasters and tips to handle them.
  • Organise mock camps in their holidays in neighboring villages to train people to cope up with disasters like earthquakes
  • Be part of 'emergency rescue teams' - mostly the training goes side by side along with 'compulsory military training' programs (another opinion: search and rescue is a highly specialized job and should be left to professionals)

A big aspect of disaster management is preparedness.

The basic role of the student is AWARENESS of what to do during and after disasters. This would lessen panicking, paranoid and uncontrollable people running around. Knowing what to do when disaster strikes will also lessen the death toll. Knowing what to do after disaster, and at least basic first aid, will enable students help the authorities in saving lives.

Top performing universities in the Philippines?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, founded in 1611, is not only the oldest University but also the oldest School in Asia.

The Claim that the University of San Carlos traces its roots to the Colegio de San Ildefonso (1595) is invalid since their is no clear link between the two. After the expulsion of the Jesuits, the Colegio closed down.

Years later, the colegio's facilities was used by its new owners and opened with a new name.

Only the building of Colegio per se lived on BUT the Colegio de San Ildefonso was never again revived.

Unlike UST, USC never experienced a homogeneous growth that is why, it cannot claim its roots from Colegio de San Ildefonso.

What are the factors that affect academic performance of students in schools?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

First, and most importantly social and cultural peer pressure tosucceed by graduating. Second, a lack of motivating forces to graduate because many high school students find high school mundane due to a lack of personalized systems, making any idea of college or higher education a unreasonabledecision.Third, a high physical work load placed on students by teachers and administrations to give a student a more challenging school experience. And finally a fourth problem could be a bad home life.
