Great question! If you're in high school and want to become an announcer or are thinking about attending broadcasting school, then you should take any kind of class that will help you with communication (drama or speech class), learning technical skills (computer science or computer graphics classes) and classes that will help develop good people skills (like debate and after-school social organizations).
The future of broadcasting will be aligned with electronic media. So if you want a career as an announcer or if you want to attend a broadcasting school, you should use your school library to read up on new media. If you have the chance, visiting broadcast stations is an awesome way to get a first-hand look of what's going on behind the scenes. And some broadcasting schools will train high school juniors and seniors, another great opportunity.

Since Rock and Roll is a very widely used phrase, it is difficult to trace its origins to one person. Many credit its popularity to a DJ from Cleveland, Ohio named Alan Freed who, in 1951, referred to the music he aired on his first radio show as Rock and Roll. Freed was soon hired in New York and his show was broadcast in over 40 market.
Although Alan Freed undoubtedly helped popularize the phrase, he by no means invented it. It's nearly impossible to correctly trace the origins of such a popular phrase, but here are some early occurrences.
As far as I know Stern is signed to a $500 million dollar, 5 year contract with Sirius Satellite Radio, although I'm not sure of the actual details (signing bonuses, extensions, etc.)
Rush's last contract with ClearChannel Radio was an 8 year contract worth $400 million dollars, with an extension which could double the contract money plus a $100 million dollar bonus for signing.
With my knowledge, Rush makes quite a bit more. However, as I said, I'm not sure at all of the details of Sterns contract with Sirius. As well, my information regarding Limbaugh's contract is probably not 100% accurate either; since the only people who really know what either Stern or Limbaugh are really making are Stern and Limbaugh themselves.

No! His flatmate has a girlfriend. Scott and Fraser are just good friends.
Her tv news job didn't like her participation on the Bob and Tom show.
It depends on how good he/she is. If the DJ is an excellent producer, makes a name for himself in the rave and club world, makes and releases CD's, then the DJ can well make millions of dollars a year. Same thing goes for resident club DJ's. It depends no how successful the club is and how skilled the DJ is. For private DJ's that do weddings and other events like that, typical DJ packages start at about $600 and then varies with length, music type, etc.
Reports are Stern makes 30 million in salary per year. He signed a 5 year 500 million dollar contract, but a large chunk of that goes to pay his employees and production costs. He also gets stock options based on subscription increases. Reports are he's sold 17 million shares on the open market (between 6 and 15 dollars per share). Not bad for 5 hours a day, 4 days a week and tons of vacations!
According to Who2 Biography, "Stern married the former Alison Berns in 1978; the couple separated in 1999 and divorced in 2001. They have three daughters: Emily (b. 1984), Deborah (b. 1987) and Ashley Jade (b. 1993)... He married model Beth Ostrosky on 3 October 2008."
