List of ps2 games played by emulators?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The list keeps growing as the PCSX2 emulator is revised, but there definition is not really a playable game. To quote them "You can get from 'new game' to 'end credits'. This is regardless of FPS, it simply means you could with a great deal of patience, complete the game! eg: Slow, but stable!"

The PS2 would not consider a game playable that PCSX2 does and a PS2 will always be easier to play PS2 games on.

How do you use Dolphin GameCube emulator?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It's not necessary to install the iso's. Go into the Config of the Dolphin and go to the Paths tab. Change the ISO Directory to wherever you keep the games (i'd put them in a folder called Gamecube Games). Now hit the Refresh button and the list of the Iso's that are in the folder should appear. Double Click the game you want to play to load it.

Can you play games on pcsx2 0.9.8 using a ps2 game disc?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No you can not play the disc with the PCSX2. You need to download the disc and create a file and then use the file to play the game. The emulator is not easy to set up to play a game like playing a PS2. Not every game title will play no matter how much time and effort you spent and some titles will not even load.

Can you play a PS2 DVD game in emulator?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No PS2 games are on a DVD and not a Cd and you must have a DVD drive in your computer and then must download and create a file and play the file or illegally download the game. This would be after you download and set up a PCSX2 emulator and the PS2 Bios from your PS2 and needed for the emulator

Yes, you sure can, as long as you have a good emulator. Try Emuland or romworld. they will point you in the right direction there.

PCSX2 is still in beta but is considered to be the best PS2 emulator. Instead you suggest a site to locate an unnamed emulator and has factious capabilities that allow a positive answer.

Not really . The use of an Emulator is not really playing PS2 games which are supposed to be fun and not a chore to work your way through and finally get to finish the game from start to finish. Every different game needs to be set up and worked. It's not like slapping them into a PS2. Emulators are out there that have completed games from start to finish. The PCSX2 considers a game playable no matter how much time, trouble, and effort it took. There are no Emulators that claim it is as easy as playing a PS2 or any that can play as many different game titles as even the less than perfect 80 GB PS3 consoles does and certainly not as well as the 60 GB PS3 did.

How do you set bios for ps2 emulator on my PC?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Depending on which model of the PlayStation 2 you have, there are two ways of turning on your system. If you have the original (fat) PlayStation 2 (SCPH-10000 to SCPH-50000), you must turn on the power supply switch at the back of the unit, next to the power cord terminal. The power button on the front of the system should now be lit in amber. Press the power button to turn on the PlayStation 2 system. If you have a slim PlayStation 2 (SCPH-70000 to SCPH-90000), there is simply a power button at the edge of the front of the unit. When the system is turned off, it should be amber. To turn it on, press it until the light becomes green.

Will the ps2 emulator work for the new 120gb ps3?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No the emulator is for a PC to play a PS2 game and not on the PS3. The work very poorly anyway more to know your computer skill than have fun playing a game. The PS2 works so much better than any of them, it's no contest they just try to be able to finish a game no how many problems and glitches they have

What is the use of loadrunner?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

LoadRunner is a performance testing tool developed by Micro Focus (formerly owned by Hewlett Packard Enterprise) that is widely used to test and measure the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications, particularly web-based applications and systems. It simulates real-world user activity and analyzes how an application behaves under different levels of load and stress. Here are some of the main uses of LoadRunner:

Performance Testing: LoadRunner helps assess the performance of an application by simulating thousands of users interacting with it simultaneously. It measures response times, throughput, resource utilization, and other performance metrics under various load conditions.

Stress Testing: LoadRunner can apply extreme loads to an application to determine its breaking point or the point at which it starts to fail. This helps identify bottlenecks and weaknesses in the system.

Volume Testing: This involves testing an application with a large amount of data to ensure it can handle the expected volume of data without performance degradation.

Scalability Testing: LoadRunner helps assess an application's ability to scale and handle increased load by gradually increasing the number of users, transactions, or data volume.

Endurance Testing: LoadRunner is used to conduct long-duration tests to evaluate an application's performance over an extended period of time, detecting memory leaks, resource exhaustion, or performance degradation over time.

Baseline Testing: Establishing a performance baseline is essential to compare the application's performance against expected norms. LoadRunner helps in setting up and measuring these baseline performance metrics.

Distributed Testing: LoadRunner can simulate user interactions from multiple geographical locations, allowing you to test the application's performance in various network conditions.

There is a training institute that I want to suggest to you for LoadRunner Training. Croma Campus Provide LoadRunner Online Training at an affordable price. There placement team starts scheduling job interviews for you. There good business relations and tie-ups with leading MNCs to allow us to place our best students there.

What does an emulator programs do?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

An emulator, when referred to as having to do with video games, is a computer program designed to emulate or simulate a specific gaming console/handheld. The games are uploaded to a computer as a ROM, which stands for Ready-Only Memory. A SNES Rom can be recognized and run by a SNES emulator. They also allow you to use the keyboard, or a joystick, and custoimize the controls to something you're comfortable with. Emulators up to the N64 should run fairly well on most computers. Most emulators also have built in cheat engines with gameshark/action-replay/gamegenie etc. support.

How do you play PlayStation or PS2 games on a PC?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

First of all, yes you CAN play PlayStation games on your PC. There are many emulators (programs that mimic the function of other systems) on the Internets. The most popular one and the one I personally use is epsxe170.

Now, before you get all excited. These are some warnings about emulations. You are only legally allowed to use emulation if you:

1. Own the system that you are emulating (i.e. a ps1, game-boy advance, N64, etc.)

2. Own the game that you are playing on your playing on your PC ( i.e FF tactics, banjo kazooie etc.)

People do play these games anyway but this is just for anyone who cares about such a thing. Click on the related link below for a detailed walk through (with pictures) of how to get and install the PA emulator. Please also keep in mind that you may subject to legal issues if you are caught downloading illegal material off the Internet or found under possession of them, be it hardware or software.

As for PS2 emulation, it is possible. The graphics card is extremely important for getting the best performance. If you can sustain good FPS on games like Crysis, Call of Duty and Oblivion at decent settings, chances are that you'll have more than enough power to play most PS2 games at full speed. The latest mid-range GPUs are always a good choice and will last you a few years down the road.
