Do you Paint or glue a model first?

It is easier to paint before gluing, but then there is the problem of getting the paint all over your fingers, as it can be quite difficult to hold onto such a small piece. If you paint the pieces while they are still on the sprue, it leaves little plastic bits, unpainted where you break it off the sprue when you have finished. The best way is for you to glue together the parts that would be easy to reach, (i.e. nothing in the way) then when you have painted them, add on the bits that would have blocked painting the rest of the model. Paint in stages, while gluing is the best idea basically.
How many people play warhammer 40k?

That's a very difficult number to come by for any game. A quick Google search will yield numbers ranging from 100k to 1 million. As with all statistics one has to be very skeptical about the numbers and their sources. Typically, any number quoted has an agenda attached to it. The main challenge with getting a realistic number is that each source has their own agenda and therefore their number is skewed. We can probably assume that Mythic's numbers will be higher than a number quoted by someone or some organization that favors World of Warcraft.
Another difficulty with coming up with an unbiased number is that everyone has their own unique definition of what "How many people play <insert MMORPG here>?" means. Here are some examples: - Number of unique serial numbers sold. - Number of people currently subscribed. - Number of people currently subscribed and paying the monthly fee (notice this is distinct from the number above as it does not count the 10 days free people).
- Number of accounts that have people actively playing over the last <insert some ambiguous time period here>. etc. Some people have even used the number of servers as their chief indicator but clearly none of these numbers tell the whole unbiased story.
In short, more than 100k but less than 1 million is about as close a number as is possible to get.

There is no 'best race' in Warhammer 40,000, as all the playable races are matched equally using a points based system.
However, as Space Marines are the race most commonly played, they receive more attention in terms of articles, codex updates and the like, and are a good all-round army, making them easily playable.
Chaos Space Marines are also considered one of the better forces, as they are very over whelming to play against, but in truth, the best army for any particular player is one that will match that player's playing style.

A number of people have reported satisfactory results from soaking the models in various fluids then scrubbing with a toothbrush or gently scraping the softened paint away. Many other people report that most solvents soften the plastic as well as the paint. Personally, I've always found that a model cleaned in such a way still has paint in recessed areas which obliterates much of the fine detail.

Most bandages no longer need to be or should be washed. If it is cloth you can boil it in water or wash it in bleach. You want to make sure its sterile and bleach or boiling can do this. The best suggestion is to just use a new bandage each time.

Technically you can play any army against any army, and any army with any army, except where rules specifically state that you may not (E.g. Black Templars may never ally with an army containing pyschers)
It would however be extremely unusual, but so long as you have a good background story, it should be fine.

Basically you use dice and tape measure to move around your troops and shoot. Different guns, models and tanks have different stats so you have to read a codex. There are so many rules and I can't tell you all of them so you will have to buy the rulebook.
