The prime factors of 4 is 2 times 2. Ten has 2 times five. Three does not have but 3 as a prime factor. That would make it the prime number.

Prime factors that you use a lot are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17...

10 = 2 x 5 so not prime, 4 = 2 x 2 so not prime, 3 = 1 x 3 so is prime as it is divisible only by itself and 1.
