20/5 = 4 so you can get four raft lengths along the pool length.

8/2 = 4 so you can get four raft widths along the pool width.

In all, therefore, you can get 4*4 = 16 rafts.

DO NOT work out the area of the pool = 20*8 = 160 sq feet

and the area of each raft = 5*2 = 10 sq feet

and then divide 160/10 to get 16 rafts.

That method does work in this particular case but, in general, will not work unless you are prepared to chop up some of your rafts and fit the bits where they will go.
