Im not to sure if I get what you mean by this but i think that you mean that what shape can be cut in half evenly?

If this is the case then it is any shape really unless it is irregular.

What does symmetrical mean?

symmetrical means * having similarity in size, shape, and relative position of corresponding partsWhen two halves of an object are mirror images of each other.go on google and type in define symmetrical. Symmetrical is a word used to describe an object or place that has two identical halves in both shape and size.Usually a human face,an egg,a ball,a pentagram, geometrical figures that sort of thing.Symmetrical means, a shape or figure cut to where the same shape/s is on both sides. For instance if you cut a circle in 2, you have a biosphere on both sides

How do you cut a square into 4 shapes with the same area?

cut in half then cut both halves in half again

How does a shape show symmetry?

it shows symmetry by being able to be cut into two equal halves, without any sides being cut bigger than the other.

What is a quartered onion?

If you have a shape and you cut off one end of it and move it over to the opposite side will the area of the shape be the same as before you cut it or will it be different?

if you have a shape and you cut one end off and move it over to the opposite side across form it will the perimeter be the same as before you cut the shape or will it be different?

What are symmetrical shapes?

A symmetrical shape is a shape that, if you draw a straight line from one point of it to the other, will cut the shape exactly in half so that the same image is on both sides. For example, if you cut a perfect square in half from top to bottom, or side to side, or diagonal to diagonal, both sides are symmetrical.

What kind of symmetry does a seal have?

A seal has bilateral symmetry. This means that if you cut the seal into right and left halves (called a sagittal cut), the two halves will be basically identical to each other. This is the same time of symmetry seen in humans.

When a bar magnet is cut into two equal halves the pole strength of each piece becomes?

Remains the Same

What shape has exactly circular bases?

Half a torus - a donut cut into a semi-circular disc.

Is a dome house Symmetrical or Asymmetrical?

Symmetrical. A symmetrical shape is simply one that when cut, or folded, in half, the one half can reflect the other half. So, each half looks the same, but as a mirrored reflection of the other. On the other hand, something that is of irregular shape - which is not symmetrical in that when cut into halves in any plane at all, the pieces are not a mirror reflection of one another - is referred to as "asymmetrical". A dome house is of symmetrical shape.

Why does a diamond look brighter than anything else even the other item is cut in exactly the same shape?

This is probably because of the very high refractive index of diamond -- 2.4.
