Area for a triangle is A=1/2b x h (A=area, b=base, h=height)
30=1/2bx5
30/5=1/2b
6=1/2 b
b=6 / 1/2
b=12
Above shows the answer someone else put but i think the answer is:
6 inches because 30 divided by 5 = 6.
To make sure you are correct; 5 x 6 = 30.
I am not 100% sure but as far as i know.. this could be the answer.
Hope that helps x
Read the question.
"what is the base of the triangle?"
the first answer is the correct one the base is 12
35 square inches
Area of a triangle = 1/2*base*height Area = 14 square inches
4 inches Area= 1/2(base)(height)
32 inches
Area of the triangle: 0.5*6*4 = 12 square inches
30 square inches. Area of triangle = (base x height) divided by 2.
The length of a triangle with a height of 12 inches and an area of 18 square inches is 3 inches, since area is 1/2 * base * height. Therefore, 2 * area divided by height = 2 * 18 /12 = 3
35 square inches
Its area is 46.8 (46.76533) square inches.
Area of triangle: 0.5*12*4 = 24 square inches
area of a triangle = .5 * base * height In this case .5 * 9 * 14 = 63 square inches
Area of a triangle = 1/2*base*height Area = 14 square inches
4 inches Area= 1/2(base)(height)
Area = 0.5*12*18 = 108 square inches
Area = 0.538 = 12 square inches
63 square inches
20 inches
