Think of the length of the mattress as the radius of a circle. Find the circumference of the circle from the radius. The circle is 360 degrees so the height you want to raise the mattress will be the circumference divided by 360 and then multiplied by 5.

circumference = (pie) 3.14 X 91" X 2 = 571.48"

571.48" / 360 = 1.587"

1.587" X 5 = 7.935"

That's pretty darn close to 8 inches.

How do you make a 30 degree angle on an 80 inches long headboard?

From the starting point, draw a horizontal line 17.3 inches long. From the end of that line, draw a vertical line 10 inches long. The line from the starting point to the end of the vertical line makes an angle of 30.03° with the horizontal line.

How do you draw a line 12 long at a 22.5 degree angle?

Draw a circle with radius of 12 units and draw the horizontal diameter. Draw the perpendicular bisector for this line. Bisect the angle that is formed above the horizontal line. Again, bisect the angle that is formed above the horizontal line: extend this line to the circumference of the circle. This line will be 12 units long because it is a radius of the circle. It is a quarter (half of half) of the 90 degree angle and so the incline is 22.5 degrees.

Is second-degree polynomial is a quadratic polynomial?

Yes, any second-degree polynomial is quadratic. Degree 0 - constant (8) Degree 1 - linear (n) Degree 2 - quadratic (n^2) Degree 3 - cubic (n^3) Degree 4 - fourth degree (n^4) Degree 5 - fifth degree (n^5) Degree 6 - sixth degree (n^6) and so on............
