Fisher's Index
Two limitations of a t-test are you can only use one factor at a time and you can only use two levels at a time. You have to watch out for the Type 1 error because it increases with simultaneous tests.
You are being tested not only that you can reach the right answers, but also that you can do it within what is considered to be a reasonable amount of time. There are some situations where taking a long time to reach an answer is perfectly acceptable, but there are also many situations you will encounter later in life where time is a key factor. Of course another important factor is the practicality of it. The examiner would not wish to be waiting around indefinitely to be able to mark your test!
Time is the only test.
