No. A trapezoid must have two parallel sides and two non-parallel sides. A rectangle must have two sets of two parallel sides and all angles of 90o. The two terms are mutually exclusive.

Are some trapezoids rectangles?

True. All rectangles are trapezoids. (In England a trapezoid is known as a trapezium.)

How are trapezoids and rectangles same?

trapezoids and rectangles, are both quadrilateral (which means shapes with 4 sides). rectangles and trapezoids are also polygons.

How are rectangles and trapezoids alike?

Both trapezoids and rectangles are quadrilaterals.

Are all rectangles trapezoids?

NO rectangles are trapezoids

How are rectangles and trapezoids similar?

how are trapezoids and rectangles

What DON'T rectangles and trapezoids have in common?

Trapezoids have only two sides parallel; rectangles have all four opposing sides parallel. Also, rectangles have 4 right angles, which is more than a trapezoid can have.

What quadrilaterals are not trapezoids?

squares and rectangles

What 4 sided shapes have right angles in them?

Squares, rectangles, and some trapezoids.

What are quadrilaterals that aren't rectangles?

Squares, parallelograms, rhombuses, and trapezoids are quadrilaterals that are not rectangles.

Quadrilaterals have no right angles?

Certain quadrilaterals have right angles. Right trapezoids are the most general example. Rectangles are specialized right trapezoids, and squares are specialized rectangles. There may be more but I can't recall them. Many rhombuses and parallelograms have no right angles. However, they might (and then you'd probably call them squares or rectangles but they are also technically rhombuses, parallelograms and trapezoids).

What has parallel sides?

Parallelograms, squares, trapezoids and rectangles

How are squares rectangles parallelogram and trapezoids are different?

they are not congruent
