No. It all depends on your intelligence level. Just because your classes smartest kid is a boy doesnt mean they all are. Whoever says that is being pretty sexist. I am a girl myself and people even admit to me that I am the smartest kid in math. Surprisingly enough, my teacher even uses all my work as examples and uses my good intelligence as an example to the class.
At some ages, in some cultures, girls show superior mental abilities in mathematics. At other times, there appears to be no difference.
The fact that almost all historical mathematicians were men does not indicate that women were less intelligent, only that the societies were dominated by males, as most are even today. Only rarely (notably in royal families) were women able to reach their intellectual potential. In some areas of the world, even the education of women is still fiercely resisted.
"In 1980 two Johns Hopkins University researchers tried to settle the eternal nature/ nurture debate. Julian Stanley - who is well respected for his work with precocious math students of both sexes - and Camilla Benbow had tested 10,000 talented seventh-and eighth-graders between 1972 and 1979. Using the Scholastic Aptitude Test, in which math questions are meant to measure ability rather than knowledge, they discovered distinct sex differences. While the verbal abilities of the males and females hardly differed, twice as many boys as girls scored over 500 (on a scale of 200 to 800) on mathematical ability; at the 700 level, the ratio was 14 to 1. The conclusion: males have inherently superior mathematical reasoning ability." From:http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,953389,00.html
Boy are better in math than girls?
People don't realize that math can be both a "girl thing" and "boy thing". Some people think boys are better at math because teachers don't pay attention to girls in math. Nothing is a "girl thing" or a "boy thing", boys and girls do tend to be better at different things, but that doesn't mean that that thing is a "girl thing" or "boy thing". Girls can do better at math that boys, and boys can do better at math than girls, but that doesn't mean that all boys are better at math that all girls.
the reason is because boy are smarter than girls in a way and when your your their girlfriend than you think that their always right so they wont get mad at you
Yes, there has been at least one girl who was smarter than at least one boy.
Even as a girl I admit that usually boys are stronger than girls. But girls are often smarter than boys. Im okay with that because I wouldn't want a boyfriend who is weaker than me or smarter than me. :] The girl will be smarter than the boy about 50% of the time. She'll be stronger than him <1% of the time.
Unless the old woman has a condition such as Alzheimer's or dementia, than she will almost invariably be smarter in general than a little boy.
thedifference between a girl and a boy is that a girl and a boy have different body parts and the girls can do more things than boys for example:girls give birth :( girls can walk wereing a skirt nnd high heels nd girlsare smarter
Neither gender is smarter than the other. However, members of one sex tend to specialize and spend more time in certain areas. Our society encourages girls to socialize and chat more than it does boys. This logically emphasizes a greater facility with language. Boys receive more pressure to participate in sports and other activities emphasizing spacial relationships. Our society encourages girls to develop different intellectual abilities than boys. As a result the average girl does better than the average boy in language skills and the average boy does better than the average girl in math and spacial relations skills. No society on earth raises girls and boys in exactly the same way. It would be interesting to find one that did.
no it is not
not exactly
I am a boy and I am capable of learning no matter the level of noise. I suppose that is just another reason I am smarter than most...
Intelligence is not determined by gender. Both boys and girls are capable of excelling in academics, problem-solving, and other intellectual pursuits. It is important to avoid making broad generalizations about a group based on gender.
