How many right-angled triangles have lengths with whole numbers?

An infinite number. Working only with the 3,4,5 triangle, you get: (*2) 6,8,10 or (*3) 9,12,15 or (*4) 12,16,20 or (*5) 15,20,25 etc for ever. And, apart from that, there are an infinite number of starting triplets (5,12,13) is the next smallest one.

What kind of triangles are there?

There are many kind of triangles. These are the following: Acute, Right, and Obtuse are actual angles. Scalene, Isosceles, and Equilateral are all actual triangles. But, you can have any triangle with any angle. Like a scalene triangle with a Right angle, or an Isosceles triangle with an Obtuse angle.Acute is a triangle with an angle less than 90 degrees. So it is smaller than a Right triangle. To make and Acute triangle, you need at least two Acute angles.Right triangle have at least on right angle. Right angles are angles that re exactly 90 degrees. If you put a cube right where the angle went, both sides would be perfectly straight.Obtuse triangles are triangles with at least one Obtuse angles. They are always bigger than 90 degrees. They are larger than a Right triangle. If you spread your legs apart, you would have an Obtuse angle.Scalene triangles are triangles with all of the sides different lengths. Each side is either longer or shorter, they are never the same.Isosceles triangles are triangles with two sides the same lengths. The other side is either longer or shorter.Equilateral triangles are triangles with ever side the same exact length. They all are exactly the same. If one is different, it's not an Equilateral triangle.

The sum of the interior angle measures of an octagon?

To find interior angle measurements, you must divide the shape into triangles by drawing diagonal lines. The diagonal lines draw triangles, and the interior angle measure of triangles are always 180 degrees. The sum of interior angles of an octagon is 1080 degrees. How ever many triangles you have, multiply it by 180. See octagons in the link for more help,

What traingle has a reflex angle?

No triangle can ever have a reflex angle inside it.

Do a hexagon have 2 right angles?

A hexagon has no right angles what-so-ever.

Is a right angled and a eqilateral triangle the same?

Absolutely not, not ever, nohow! An equilateral triangle has three angles of 60 degrees, a right-angled triangle must have one of 90 degrees.

In a right triangle when you draw an altitude to the hypotenuse are the triangles ever similar?

Only if the angles of the triangle are 90, 45, and 45.

Can a triangle ever be a rectangle?

No, triangles can never be rectangles.

Are some scalene triangles also isosceles triangles?

Scalene triangles those triangles in which all the sides are of different lengths, but in isosceles triangles two sides of the triangle are equal in length. Therefore, no scalene triangle can ever be isosceles.

How are right triangles used in building construction?

i have no absaloute clue what so ever Traditionally in the western world, walls in buildings are erected to be perfectly vertical. Rooms are constructed usually with square corners. The requirement for a building being perfectly vertical is all the more critical in high rise buildings and sky scrapers. Hence the right triangles are used in laying brick, cutting wood etc.

Is a triangle 180 degrees or 360 degrees?

Triangles whether acute, obtuse, equilateral or scalene will only ever have angles that add to 180 degrees.

Why do you have to add up the 3 angles to 180?

I have a hunch that there's something about this that you're not telling.Every flat triangle that ever was drawn or ever will be drawn has interior anglesthat add up to 180 degrees. That's a characteristic of triangles. If you know that, then you can use it to solve problems involving triangles.

Do a ladybug have a symmetry?

No the spots on a ladybug are not symmetrical how ever there could be a ladybug that has symmetrical spots but that's usually a rare site.

Were the Greeks symmetrical or out of proportion?

No person is ever completely symmetrical, but neither were the ancient Greeks 'out of proportion'. They looked just like people today, only their average height was a little less. Most men would be happy to measure something like 1.70m (5 ft.6)
