If a number is expressed in binary is it divisible by 2?

Some are, some are not. Binary is just a way of writing a number. It will still be divisible be the same numbers it was divisible by in base 10.

Why does it make sense numbers divisible by 10 and 2 are the same?

Any number that is divisible by 10 is an even number and hence divisible by 2 also. It can also be stated that because 10 is divisible by 2, all numbers divisble by 10 are also divisible by 2.

Why is that when a number is divisible by 2 and divisible by3 it is also by six how are they related why does this pattern not work for 2 4and 8?

Numbers divisible by 6 will have at least one 2 and one 3 as prime factors because 2 x 3 = 6. The same is true for 2, 4 and 8. Numbers divisible by 4 are also divisible by 2. Numbers divisible by 8 are also divisible by 4 and 2.

Jason has a spinner that has the numbers 1-12 on it If all of the sections are the same size what is the probability a person will spin and the pointer will land on a number divisible by 4?

Well, if you really mean divisible by 4 then the answer is 100% that is probability 1.00. On the other hand, if you mean evenly divisible by 4, then in the numbers 1-12 there are 3 numbers evenly divisible by 4 (4, 8, 12) since there are 12 numbers then the probaqbility of a number divisible by 4 is 3/12 = 0.25

Is there any number divisible by 2 but not 4?

Yes, half of the numbers divisible by 2 are not divisible by 4. For example, 2 is divisible by 2 but not by 4. The same is true for 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, etc.

How can I know if a binary number is divisible by another binary number?

The same as in decimal. You divide one number by the other, and if you get a whole number as a result (or if you get no remainder, depending on how you do the division), it is divisible. Note that you might also convert both numbers to decimal, and do the division in decimal.

Is the factors of a number an divisible by a number the same thing?

Why a number which ends in 3 cannot be a multiple of 4?

If a number is divisible by 4, it also means that the same number is divisible by 2. But if the number ends in a 3, it can't be divisible by 2 and, to a further extent, can't be divisible by 4.
