It is nearly impossible to interpret what you are considering as anything but meddling in an attempt to manipulate your own gain. It is understandable that you are tempted to do this. Teenagers are learning about a lot of complex things, and relationships are among the most complex things going. The best thing you can do is to treat them with respect, and treat them as you would want to be treated if you were in that situation. It's unlikely that you have so much knowledge and insight that you can say for sure that their relationship is really bad for both of them. Things are not always as they seem. Be patient and respectful. If you are meant to get together with this guy, let it not be because you meddled. You are not in a situation where you must choose between honesty and respect. If you are interested in honesty AND respect, you will leave them to learn, and to work out their differences.
