8/4 and why ask on answers.com? Just ask your mom or someone then again... Why am I answering this?

Three methods immediately spring to mind:Multiply the improper fraction by its denominator (or any multiple of the denominator);divide the numerator by the denominator to get a remainder. Put this as a fraction over the denominator and subtract it from the original fraction and then simplify this resulting fraction;divide the numerator by the denominator to get a remainder. Subtract this from the denominator and put this as a fraction over the denominator and add it from the original fraction and then simplify this resulting fraction. However I suspect you really meant to ask how to convert an improper fraction into a mixed number:Divide the numerator (top number) by the denominator (bottom number) to get a whole number and a remainder;put this remainder as the numerator over the original denominator to make a fractionput this fraction with the whole number result of the division in step one.eg convert 22/5 to a mixed number:22 ÷ 5 = 4 remainder 2remainder 2 ⇒ 2/5whole number is 4 ⇒ mixed number is 42/5Thus 22/5 = 42/5

For a mixed fraction, you need an improper fraction, that is, a fraction whose numerator is larger than its denominator. So suppose the fraction is x/y where x > y.Then divide x by y: that is x/y = q with a remainder r.Then the mixed fraction for x/y is q r/y.[Actually you need a numerator whose absolute value is greater than the positive denominator, but the fact that you ask this question suggests that you are nowhere near ready to go there.]

I am prepared to define any term in geometry. If there is some term for which you would like to have a definition, just ask.

I will show the process by converting 1½ to a decimal and then reverse the process. First, you must multiply the denominator of the fraction by thewhole number. (in this case 2 X 1.) You will then add the numerator of the fraction to your current number.(2 X 1 + 1 = 3) Then place the number that you currently have(3)on top of the original denominator.(2) Your answer will be numerator:3 Denominator:2- an improper fraction. If you have an improper fraction like three halves, the fraction can be simplified to a mixed number. To do the conversion, divide three by two or ask your self how many times 3 goes into 2.(Did you know that a fraction is simply another way of showing division?) If three is correctly divided by two the answer will be 1½.

There are infinitely many common denominators and so it makes no sense to ask about the common denominator. For example, 45000 is a common denominator.

i think that the fraction for 2.55 is the easiest question in the world and if you ask your parent they will answer! there you go!

I suggest ask the question again - but be more precise.

it means that you write a question that doesn't make sense for example: -13/60 .makes sense seen as the top (numerator) is a lower number than the denominator (top number) but an improper fraction like your asking is -60/13. which is impossible because you only have 13 why ask for 60?! hope i helped and best of luck

I think it can be, but ask your instructor/teacher to be sure!

Undefined references occur in programs when a program tries to access a variable that has not previously been declared. Picture this scenario: You have 2 oranges and 3 apples Add the number of oranges to the number of ilikons Any sensible person would simply ask: what are "ilikons"? A program will not however ask that. It will just stop and report undefined reference to ilikons (at best). A related error is the non-initialized vriable, which in some languages comes up as undefined variables as well. You have 2 oranges and some apples Add the number of oranges to the number of apples We have declared the apples - but we haven't stated how many there were, and adding that unknown number to anything still mkaes no practical sense.

Like all whole numbers put it over 1, to get 89/1 inches.Perhaps you ought to ask your question with more clarity as to what you want. For example, do you mean "How do you convert 89 inches to a fraction of another unit, for example a chain?"In which case you find out how many inches are in the other unit (1 chain = 792 inches) and then use this as the denominator with 89 as the numerator and then simplify the fraction. In this case 89 inches is 89/792 chain.

Ask some one who knows

well im not sure but i will give you advice. go to your teacher or a pfriend or parent and ask them sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

idk ask your teacher... sry kid only in 9th grade

You multiply the given fraction with 100 over 1 or if it says for example : find 35% of a fraction then you multiply the fraction with 35 over 100 or whatever percentage is given but if you doubt don't hesitate to ask your teacher!

I am not sure that the question that you actually asked is the question that you wanted to ask but ...24 million, as a fraction of 4, is 96 million.

I guess you are asking for the fraction form of the recurring decimal 0.6666.... = 2/3 (If not, please re-ask)

States Needed to Ask for a ConventionThree-fourths of the states are needed in order to ask for a convention to propose new amendments.

The units for the denominator is minutes. Also, since the number in the denominator is to be omitted, the number of seconds (in a minute) are totally irrelevant.

i don't know ask someone else i was tryinng to find that out to

you writev it as 55% if you want to ask for the fraction it is 55/100

a fraction is a decimal how is because u can change a decimal into a fraction and u can change a fraction into a decimal if u still have troble with the answer ask a teacher or a math freek btw donate to the children hospite save a live by helping plze thanks
