That all depends on the current drawn by each winch when it's running.

The Handbook of Electronic Tables and Formulas for American Wire Gauge

says that the maximum DC current for #14 wire in power transmission service

is 5.9 amperes.

-- If the winches are fed by separate runs of 14-2 from the battery, then #14 is OK

as long as one winch doesn't pull more than 5.9 amps when it's running.

-- If both winches split off from one end of a single run of 14-2, then

. . . . . If they never both run at the same time, then #14 is OK as long as

neither winch pulls more than 5.9 amps when it's running.

. . . . . If they sometimes both run at the same time, and the sum of both of

their running currents is more than 5.9, then the #14 wire is too small for the

single run from the battery out to where they split.

The bottom line is: A piece of 14-2 should never carry more than 5.9 or 6 amps

for more than several seconds. If it does, then the wire gets hot, and the winches

run slow and overheat, because part of the voltage is getting lost in the wiring,

and they're not getting the full 12 volts that they need to run.

What is the force that stretches or pulls apart the earths crust?

Generally materials that fly apart are being pushed rather than pulled. We could devise a mechanism that pulls materials apart - for example, if we attach two hooks and pull them on winches in opposite directions. In that case we would describe the force as mechanical in nature. But it is more likely that things get pushed apart by their own internal pressure.

My dad just worked on my car for about 3 weeks and had un plugged the battery and we just plugged it back in to find it wont start. we checked the starter and its good. So what is the problem?

well first check the battery, then connect it up and find the answer to the 2 next questions: 1. if it wont start ,does the headlights come on ? if not it is a battery connection problem. If they do then check that the battery has a full charge ? And of course ask yourself ,what did i take apart or disconnect while working on car ? more likely you forgot to connect something back up. how did you check starter? hit it with 12v and heard it turn over ? remember a starter motor will run straight wired off a battery but won't crank a car because the starter solenoid is left out of the circuit. hope this helps.

How do you Change Jaguar KeyFob battery?

I'm doing it right now on 4 button 2002 x type lazer cut key fob.. w/small screw driver, pry 2 halves apart. Then split the half w/the 4 buttons apart again with a small screw driver. That will expose a circuit board, remove one Phillips screw, remove that & the battery is below that. The battery is a Panasonic CR 2032 3volt battery. It's about the size of a nickel. I suggest you buy the battery before disassembling the remote. I couldn't because I didn't know what battery to buy.. But know you do.. Good Luck, it will come apart & not break, it's acutally pretty sturdy, just keep prying it apart.
