If it's okay with the six year old's parents and the twelve year old is responsible enough than it's probably fine. If you're talking about is it okay legally, then the answer is yes, it's entirely legal.
There is no specific legal age for baby sitters, but the generally accepted minimum age is 12 years old.
I suppose 11, 12 years would do the trick.
No, not legally anyway.
you should be atleast 10 or 11. As long as your responsible if your 10 or 11 then that should do.

There are no laws that would prevent it, but it probably isn't going to look appropriate. Eleven is a bit young to put in charge of a six year old. But if they are competent and know what to do in case of emergency, and the six year old will obey the 11 year old, it could work for a few hours during the day.
=Hanna might have been six or younger when she started singing. But she started her actual career in singing when she was twelve.==Hanna might have been six or younger when she started singing. But she started her actual career in singing when she was twelve.=
The phrase "six year old" should be hyphenated when used as an adjective before a noun, as in "She is a six-year-old girl."
very unlikely. i wouldn't trust my children to a sitter under 16 in most cases. bottom line is the maturity of the sitter, and i just don't see a 9 yr old as being that mature. It totally depends on the maturity of the Babysitter. Some 9 year old's are smarter than 20 year old's.
Common sense.
Personally, i think if your two 12 year olds are strong, smart and love kids i think they would be up 4 it. but make sure that it doesn't get 2 out of hand that they have no time for themselves.
Leagally? A.) Babysit... a LOT! B.) Take on many many paper routes. C.) Ask your parents... and you better have a good reason!
