yes, but if there is too much alcohol it can cause damage to the nerves when transfering information to the brain.
No. But drinking alcohol can, if you decide to keep the baby, cause mental problems and birth defects in your child. You need some good medical advice.
Drinking alcohol when pregnant can cause harm to the unborn fetus and is therefore classed as a poison during pregnancy. The alcohol can cause the fetus to be deprived of oxygen and nutrition; it could also cause fetal alcohol syndrome after birth, which can lead to mental and physical deformities.
Alcohol can pass through the placenta from the mothers blood to the babies. It can: cause misscarriage and stillbirth, cause mental retardation, affect the growth of the baby, cause damage to brain and nervous system, the child can be addicted to alcohol, child can also get Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Brain damage, small head, Low birth weight, abnormalities, can affect language development, Cause short attention span, Behavioral problems (ADHD).
Well, probably not. But if the person puts on the vaseline without reason or with other not-nice qualities, the kid could get quite upset. I would attribute the mental problems to the adult, rather than to the child.
use of alcohol during pregnancy can cause birth defects, mental retardation, pre mature birth, or alcoholism of the child.
Why not? It's still your child. Who has the child the father with mental problems or the custodial parent? Still if the father has mental problem and he fathered a child...yes he does have to pay child support. Was the father with mental problems receiving some type of disability for his mental problems? If so he is still responsible for paying child support. Does the father have custody of the child? Somebody needs to go back to court ad petition the court.
The alcohol will pass through to the baby, which can cause premature delivery, birth defects, or even a miscarriage. Alcohol can damage the brain cells and limit the flow of oxygen to developing tissues. This scares me that you would not know this answer. FAS (Fetal alcohol syndrome) is very harmful to your baby. It can cause mental retardation and may other health problems that effect the child for life. Drinking small amounts of alcohol once a month or very infrequently is okay. But, to be completely safe, and keep your baby safe, I would obstain from all alcohol dring pregnancy.
I have worked with several children who have had FASD (or FAS, if you prefer). They cab go on to live oerfectly normal lives, though many of the children I worked with had severe mental and/or behavioral problems.
Death, a feeling of being removed, mental problems.
I assume that this question means "What are the harms caused to you and your baby while drinking alcohol while you are pregnant?" The harms to the mother while drinking alcohol while pregnant are not very significant, unless she drinks excessively. The harm to the child however are severe. Even a single beer during pregnancy greatly increases the chances of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), which causes huge amounts of developmental problems in the foetus, and will affect the child for the rest of his or her life. In some countries, drinking while pregnant CAN endanger the mother, as it is seen as being socially and legally unacceptable.
The mother can drink alcohol if she wants her child to be a wack job when it gets older.
Unless the mom had drug or alcohol problems probably not, but the child could still go to the father;)
