The angles of a trapezium add up to 360 degrees. Whether or not it is right angled is irrelevant.
The trapezoid contains 180 more degrees.
A right-angled trapezoid
you can't a trapezoid can never really have a right angle if it does it is no real trapezoid. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- all the way -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ___ Actually you can. Instead of having to angled sides: / \ ___ You make it be: | \ It's still a trapezoid but an irregular one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A right angled trapezoid.
A right angled trapezium (trapezoid).
A quadrilateral that has one (and only one) pair of parallel sides is a trapezoid. It is isosceles of the non-parallel sides are of equal length. It is right angled if any one of the angles is 90 degrees.
It normally has two but, in the case of a right-angled trapezium, it has only one.
A right angled trapezoid would fit this description.
It is a right angled trapezoid
No.Examples:The right angled triangles {3, 4, 5} & {6, 8, 10} are similar;The right angled triangles {3, 4, 5} & {5, 12, 13} are just two right angled triangles.
There are two I can immediately think of. A TRAPEZOID (think two right angles at the bottom with two vertical sides of different lengths and a KITE may also have only two right angles. It is called a right-angled trapezoid in American English or a right-angled trapezium in British English. I don't think that a kite could have only two right angles.
