Best Answer

Yes. As long as no single vector has a bigger magnitude than the sum of the

magnitudes of the other two.

Simple example:

#1). 100 pounds pointing north

#2). 70 pounds pointing south

#3). 30 pounds pointing south

Sum = zero.

Can two vectors having different magnitudes be combined to give a zero resultant?

No.

Can two vectors having different magnitudes be combined to give a zero resultant can three vectors?

Two vectors: no. Three vectors: yes.

Can two vectors having different magnitudes be combined to give a zero resultant.is it possible for three such vectors?

Two vectors with unequal magnitudes can't add to zero, but three or more can.

Can two vectors having different magnitude be combined to give a zero resultantis it possible for three vectors?

-- The minimum magnitude that can result from the combination of two vectors is the difference between their magnitudes. If their magnitudes are different, then they can't combine to produce zero. -- But three or more vectors with different magnitudes can combine to produce a zero magnitude.

Is it possible to add two vectors having different magnitudes and yield zero resultant?

It is certain that two vectors of different magnitudes cannot yield a zero resultant force.

How many minimum no of coplaner vectors having different magnitude can be added to given zero resultant?

If all magnitudes are different, then minimum is three.

Two vectors have unequel magnitudes can their sum be zero?

No. Best case scenario is that they are pointed directly opposite one another, and that is insufficient to cancel by definition of having different magnitudes.

Are two vectors having equal magnitudes equqal?

Not unless they also have the same direction, i.e. they are parallel.

Adding two vectors in the same direction?

The sum of two vectors having the same direction is a new vector. It's magnitude is the sum of the magnitudes of the original two vectors, and its direction is the same as their common direction.

What is an equivalent vector?

Two vectors having same magnitude but different direction are called equivalent vectors.

Can two vectors having different magnitude be compined to give a zero resultant can three vector?

Two vectors, no; three vectors yes.

Can two vectors having different magnitude be combined to give a vector sum of zero?

No. Three can, but two need to cancel out exactly, meaning they must have the same magnitude in opposite directions.
