I am also searching the same.

To "Hold" a bank account is the same as having or owning a bank account. If one has a savings account, they hold that account.
If you have the same bank account, then your ex can get your money now before you die.
Yes & No, if the whole family opened at the same branch the answer will be yes, with the exception that a bank merger happens and all old account will have one routing number and all new accounts will have another. Ask your local Bank branch. The No will be that you bank will a big bank, EX: Citibank You open the account in New York when you where living their, however you moved and open another account in Texas. you new account will have a different routing number.
It depends on the bank and also the branch. These days most banks offer core banking facilities where all accounts have the same number of digits but this number varies from bank to bank.
Usually Cheques issued by banks have a city associated with them. For ex: if I give you a cheque from my bank account in Chennai, India, and you want to deposit it in your account in Delhi, India, it is an outstation cheque and your bank will charge you a fee for cashing that cheque. Usually around Rs. 50/- If my bank has given me a multicity cheque - it means that when you deposit it in Delhi, your bank will not charge you this cheque cashing fee because my check is the same irrespective of which city in India it is cashed.
If you want to do this online, in the UK you need their bank sort code and account number. Your bank account will then have a facility for transferring funds to that account. It may be the same elsewhere.
AAn acoount of which even some bank managers are not clear .If you withdraw a part ,will it be breaking of your term deposit or a simply withdrawl from your account ,the remaining amount will earn the same rate of as it was fixed at the time of making MOD.
