Can you arrange lines in a plane so they're both paraller and intersecting?

NO. Line are always parallel or intersecting. They're never both at the same time.

Line that are in the same plant and are not parallel?

Lines in the same plane that are not parallel are intersecting lines.

What kinds of lines are in the same plane and are not parallel?

Intersecting or coincident.

Is it possible to find two lines on a plane which are neither parallel nor intersecting?

No. Lines are infinite, so if they are not parallel, they have to intersect at some point on the plane.

Do intersecting lines ever cross?

Intersecting lines are two lines that cross in a coordinate plane. So, yes, intersecting lines cross.

intersecting lines divergent lines convergent lines

Are two lines that do not intersect skew?

Two lines that are not parallel and do not intersect are skew. If the non-intersecting lines are in the same plane then they are parallel.

Is it possible to find two lines on a plane which are neither parallel nor intersecting?

No. Lines are infinite, so if they are not parallel, they have to intersect at some point on the plane.

What does intersecting lines mean?

Intersecting lines are those that lie in the same plane and cross each other at some point. Unless they are parallel, lines in the same plane always cross.

Are all Intersecting lines parallel?

Parallel lines cannot intersect in the Euclidean plane. Intersecting lines are not parallel.

Chris draws an image of two lines that lie in the same plane. Which of these describes the image drawn by Chrisangle Parallel lines Intersecting lines Or perpendicular lines.?

C.intersecting lines

What is the opersit to parallel lines?

Assuming that by opersit is meant opposite, the answer is NONPARALLEL LINES. If they are in the same plane then (and only then) they would be intersecting lines (lines that meet at some point in the plane). But if they are not in the same plane they need not meet even if they are not parallel. So the answer that they are intersecting lines is incomplete and therefore incorrect. To visualise nonparallel lines that do not intersect, consider a room. Think of the [horizontal] line formed by the floor and the wall opposite you. Think of the [vertical] line formed by the wall behind you and the wall to your right. These two lines are not parallel, but they will not meet - ever.

Do intersecting lines ever cross?

Intersecting lines are two lines that cross in a coordinate plane. So, yes, intersecting lines cross.
