Commutative property in division Indeed I have the answer. One example would be: 8 divided by 4 = 2 is different from 4 divided by 8 = 0.5 This means that if you alter the order of the dividends, the result of the operation will change. That is why division is not a commutative property. not ha ha ha

Commutative property of multiplication

Are Commutative property of multiplication and multiplication Array the same?

No. They are not at all the same thing. A multiplication array is something that you usually use when you're learning multiplication. For example: there are 5 rows of 7. Its a picture that shows something like that. On the other hand, a commutative property is 2 numbers that you can multiply very easily in your head. The numbers are between 0 and 9. If they are double digits, they're not commutative property.

Which number sentence shows the commutative property of addition?

Whichever one changes the order of the addends. a + b = b + a

What is the communitive property in algebra?

All of the underneath is utter ignorance. Communitive means "of or belonging to a community" and has no algebraic meaning whatsoever.* * * * *The Communitive Property shows that a problem can have the same answer if you re-arrange the numbersCommunitive propertyA+B= B+AIt will not matter in addition how you group your numbers.Example: 5+3 + 6 =146+3+5 = 14In abstract algebra, a binary operation * has the commutative property ifa*b = b*a.For ordinary numbers, addition has the commutative property; for example 2+3 = 3+2.Subtraction does not have the commutative property, because 2 - 3 does not equal 3 - 2.Multiplication of ordinary numbers has the commutative property, as does multiplication of complex numbers.Matrix multiplication does not have the commutative property in general; there are matrices A, B such that A*B does not equal B*A.Also the vector cross product does not have the commutative property, asi x j = k, but j x i = -k.

What is the property of 16 plus 31 equals 31 plus 16?
