Each year, the questions and the writing topics on the test will be different. The test consists of 2 writing test, a numerical and verbal reasoning test, a comprehension test and a mathematics test. Which equals to 6 tests altogether. Of the two writing test, one will be an essay which gives you a topic for you to agree/disagree or simply discuss about. The second writing test will be a creative writing test, where several pictures/photos will be on the sheet of paper and you have to have at least three or more images related to your piece of writing. There are 60 questions for numerical and verbal reasoning. And 50 questions for comprehension and mathematics. These test will be given 30 minutes each to complete, and the writing will be 15 minutes each. Study for basic knowledge of each topic/subject and expand your vocabulary. Read lots of books to help you will writing and make sure to write quickly and leave time to check over your answers as time is very limited in these tests. If you cannot complete a question, circle it and come back to it later. You will have only approx 30 seconds for each question. Good luck!
The rules of the Number Sense Test specify " ... no help from ... pen and paper ... ". Assuming that this includes pencils, highlighters, crayons and other writing implements I suggest that the answer is NO.
