Maths is EVERYWHERE in the real world ! Take the simple act of buying a newspaper. How will you know (a) what money to give the vendor, and (b) if the vendor has given you the correct change. OR - how will you know if you've been paid the correct wages for your job ! And they're just simple examples !

yes, maths is important, you will still want to count your money, & possibly do your book keeping. & you'll be surprised how much math you will use in the real world everyday.
Loving something does not mean you find it easy, but those that enjoy maths often do enjoy physics and find it easier (physics is just maths applied to the real world).
I like the way it helps us solve complex questions in the real world. I dislike the way it's constantly misspelled; the word is maths,it's an abbreviation of mathematics which is plural, so maths must be plural.
