2= squared the equation to make it multiply to the specified number it was originated to.

energy= mass x speed of light squared.

mass on earth= 9.8 m / s.

speed of light= 299 792 458 m / s.

squared that= 8631644736588396614.56 m / s.

mass on earth= 9.8 m / s.

speed of light= 299 792 458 m / s.

÷

squared that= 8631644736588396614.56

=3.4037152571240005058732317803563e-10

In natural units, where the speed of light is defined to be 1, the equation simplifies to E = m.
