Finding the Mode and the Median are fairly easy and do not require the use of a calculator.

Consider this set of numbers as an example:
5, 7, 1, 1, 9, 8, 10, 8, 8

For #3, use this set:
5, 5, 7, 1, 1, 9, 8, 10, 8, 8

1.) Put ALL the numbers in sequential order. This is essential for finding the Median. It also helps depict what the Mode is.
(1, 1, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 10)

2.) To find the Mode, choose the number that occurs the most. If there is more than one, then there is no mode, for there is always ONE mode.
In this case, it is 8.

3.) To find the Median quickly, count the number of numbers in your set. Add 1 to the amount of numbers in your set. Divide by 2. Then, count that many numbers into your set. If the previous quotient found has a ".5" in it, then you will have to find the average of the two numbers. (Note: This comes in handy for large number sets)
Example 1: (1, 1, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 10) There are 9 numbers.
1/2(9 + 1) = 5 numbers in.

The median is 8.

Example 2: (1, 1, 5, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 10)
1/2(10+1) = 5.5
The median is in between 7 and 8.
1/2(7+8) = 7.5

Keep in mind that you don't arbitrarily add .5 to the 5th number.
Example 3:
(10, 10, 40, 40, 40, 81, 82, 82, 95, 100)

1/2(40+81) = 60.5

What is the binary number of 209.85.153.94?

Just use the Windows calculator, and set it to scientific mode, or use any scientific calculator that supports binary/decimal. In the Windows calculator, make sure you are in decimal, type in each of the four numbers, then select "Binary" to convert to binary. You will have to fill out some of the binary numbers with zeroes to the left (each one must have 8 binary digits).Just use the Windows calculator, and set it to scientific mode, or use any scientific calculator that supports binary/decimal. What is 10010111 to decimal?

Most scientific calculators can do this sort of conversion - including the scientific calculator included in Windows (set the mode to "Scientific" or to "Programmer", depending on the version). If you need help using your calculator, or if you want to learn how to do the calculation without a calculator, ask a separate question about that.

How do you enter an imaginary number in a scientific calculator?

Some scientific calculators can't handle complex or imaginary numbers. If you happen to have a special calculator that does, probably the manual will tell you how to enter them. The HP 48 and up series does. It depends on if your calculator is in Polar Coordinate mode or X-Y coordinate mode, but a quick way to get the imaginary number i (regardless of which mode the calculator is currently in), is to press -1, then 'square root' button.
