I would say that raves plus epilepsy almost certainly equals a bad choice. Strobe lights can definitely cause seizures. Even if you had been around them before without problems, the cumulative effect of the strobe lights at the raves could have contributed. At the very least, the fact that you are prone to seizures for whatever reason should make you want to stay away from anything that could trigger them again. You could also talk to a trusted doctor to get an opinion on this.
