The overall, and pretty much the only idea of simplifying an expression is that the two sides begin being either equal or equivalent, so doing the same thing to both sides means they are still equal/equivalent. This means that you can add anything you like to either side, so long as you add it to the other as well. The same goes for exponents, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The importance of simplification using boolean algebra or Karnaugh mapping?

Simplification of Boolean expressions reduces the number of operations or the circuitry required for implementation. However, it is important to note that simplification is not necessarily a good thing. This is particularly the case in hardware design, and is easy to understand when using KV diagrams for simplification: in cases where simplification yields a KV diagram with more than one non-overlapping zones (areas where the boolean expression equates to the desired state), transitioning between those non-overlapping zones can cause gliches; high frequency transitions of the output signal through its inverse. This can be caused by different speed of signals through the circuitry, for example when different paths use different gates or numbers of gates. In these cases, it is generally useful to expand the expression such that the disjoint areas in the fully simplified KV diagram have a link through which they can overlap.

What is the difference between a algebraic equation and a algebraic expression and a formula?

An equation is a statement that two (preferably different) expressions are EQUAL to each other (hence EQUAtion) An expression is series of numbers, variables, and operations which makes mathematical sense. (when I say "makes mathematical sense" I simply mean that "5x + -/* -2" would not count as an expression since you have a subtraction sign divided by a multiplication sign) Since an equals sign is not a number, variable, NOR an operation, you canNOT have an equals sign in a single expression (that would turn it into an equation). For example... Equation: 3x + 2 = 9/x - 7 Expression: 3x + 2 or Expression: 9/x - 7 Note how the equation serves to join two different expressions together. An expression alone cannot provide any useful information (in general). Rather, an equation is needed in order to draw useful mathematical conclusions.

What mathematical symbol? Different symbols were invented in different times and places.

Which comes first brackets or parentheses?

Brackets tends to be an English expression, Parentheses is used in the USA and elsewhere. Technically, Parentheses are rounded brackets but this really doesn't matter in mathematics as long as different shaped brackets/parentheses are used to separate the various elements of a mathematical expression.

What is importance of mathematics in accounting?

The importance of Mathematics in accounting is that different accounting activities require the use of Mathematical principles. Mathematics will therefore help accountants to effectively solve various accounting problems easily.

Why can't we use capital letters in algebra expression?

Sometimes capital letters can be mistaken for other notations used in the mathematical sciences. Lower case letters also are very distinct from one another when looking at the handwriting of different individuals.
