I would think a number only increases if divided by something less than 1 but greater than 0.
If you divide something by 5 it would become less and decrease
10/5=2
5/5=1
but
15/ 1/2 = 30
10/ 1/4 = 40
Divide the number by 100 to get 1%, then times the answer by 5 to get 5%Or, you can divide the number by 20, which will also give you 5%
150
Your question's meaning eludes me. You can divide any number by 5, whether or not it is a remainder, and why would you want to divide a remainder by 5 anyway?
Divide that number by 5 or Multiply it by 0.2
You can't get a percent increase if the original number is 0. Anything that you divide by 0 is 0.
The number you use to divide an equation is called the divisor. For example, 10 ÷ 5 = 2, where 5 is the divisor.
Only the number 1 will divide evenly into 3, 5, and 8.The smallest number that can be divided evenly by 3, 5, and 8 is the number 120.
