Yes in fact it is the prefered stance in the spread offense
OFFENSIVE LINE MEN ARE OFFTEN IN A THREE POINT STANCE WITH THERE FEET SLIGHTLY STAGERED.DEFENSIVE LINEMENS STANCE CAN ETHIER BE 4 POINT STANCE WHERE BOTH HANDS ARE DOWN (USUALY IN GOALINE SITUATIONS TO GET LOWER THEN THE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN) OR THEY USE A SLIGHTLY MORE AGREESIVE 3 POINT STANCE.
They don't, there is no rule that states they have to. One reason the defensive lineman gets in a three point stance (one hand on the ground) is to put him on the same level as the offensive lineman, who also is in a three point stance. One of the keys of being able to keep the offensive lineman from controlling a defensive lineman is for the defensive lineman to have a lower center of gravity. If the offensive lineman can get low on a defensive lineman he can pretty much move him anywhere he wants. This is particularly important on running plays where the offensive line is to trying to open a 'hole' for the running back to run through.
Feet and hands count as 'points'. A four point stance is generally associated with defensive linemen and means the lineman has both hands on the ground at the line of scrimmage at the time of the snap. Obviously, the lineman will have both feet on the ground so that counts for two 'points'. If a lineman also has both hands on the ground, that would be two more 'points' for a total of four. A three point stance is when the lineman has one hand on the ground. A two point stance is where the lineman does not touch the ground with either of his hands.
Well, I think you mean what is the three point line... well the three point line in basketball is a designated arc line radiating from the basket. If a player shoots beyond the three point line, it counts as three points while if you shoot inside the three point line, it only counts as two points.
The answer depends on which three point line and which ring!
The three point line is a line around the perimeter that if you shoot out of it and make it, it counts as 3 points.
The three undefined terms are the point, the line and the plane.
the three-point line the three-point line
it means three lines a line begins and ends at a point
ummm the two point line would be anywhere inside the three point line? derrrrr
it is the point of a segment and three lines in it.
