I am assuming you are talking about the thermostat. The spring end faces the block.
The spring faces the engine block ( and the vent hole goes to the top )
The spring end faces towards the engine block and if the thermostat has a vent hole the hole is at the top of the thermostat
Spring towards the block of the engine.Spring towards the block of the engine.
The spring side goes toward the engine.
Spring side goes into the block.
With this engine,it is impossible to put it in backwards. The spring wont fit down in that black metal tube. But the spring faces up towards the exhaust manifold. Just remember that with all engines, the spring will face towards the engine block because it needs to know the coolant temp. inside the block.
spring side will go in block were top hose connect
The radiator does not have a drain. You have to siphon it out or pull a hose. I don't know about the block one.AnswerI have a 1999 4wd suburban, and yes it has a drain on the radiator. When you face the engine, standing in front of the truck, look down on the side of the radiator cowling. You should see the drain under the transmission line where it enters the radiator. The only way I could reach mine was to remove the radiator cowling and use a pair of needle nose pliers to turn the pet cock valve to drain the radiator.
As you face the car, look to the right side of the engine. The thermostat (the one that opens as the engine warms to allow coolant to get to the radiator) is behind the hose coming from the engine block. It's below the coil pack (the box with all the spark plug wires connected to it). WHere the radiator hose meets the engine block.
I was told that is on the engine block but I don't know the exact location. i have 98 4.0. i found the sensor on the lower front of the radiator. face your aurora kneel right in front of car and look on lower area of radiator.
battle the Pokemon you think has the move block or scary face and then capture it
you grow a radiator out of your face
