When using the math term, spread, it means the distance between two numbers. For example, if a football score ends with a score of 25 to 17, the spread is 8.

If you mean the math term, then I can help. I am a certified math teacher, so no worries. Add ALL THE NUMBERS, and divide by however many numbers you added. EXAMPLE: 10, 20, 30. added, that equals 60! 60 divivded by three is 20! simple as that!
.Mean; is the correct term in mathematical statistics. 'Average' is a word used in insurance, to describe 'loss'. As the root word is 'avaricious'. Also used casually, but incorrectly, for 'mean'
