7(a + 3) = 7*a + 7*3 = 7a + 21
3(7a - 5b) + 2(4a - 3b) Multiply the contents of each bracket by the number outside it: 21a - 15b + 8a - 6b Bring like terms together: 21a + 8a - 15b - 6b Combine like terms: 29a - 21b This cannot be simplified further.
(x - 6) (x + 4) = x2 - 2x - 24
3(x+4) is the same as 3x+12 when the brackets are expanded out
x[x+1] squared Simplified is, to my knowledge, x squared plus ( x + 1) squared
3
6(x + 7) = 6x + 42
There are no brackets!
I think the answer is (13-t)(13+t) because when you expand the brackets some of it cancells out like +169 - 169. As they are the same (but ones got a plus and ones got a minus) they cancel each other out. :)
Multiplying out the brackets it is: 7a+21-ac-3c
3(x + 1)(x + 3)
Expand z plus 11 times z plus 11 = (z+11)(z+11) = z2 + 22z + 121.
