to use prime factorization...u must know the prime numbers at least till 13. use start dividing both numbers...like this: 2 | 4,6 2 | 2,3 2 |1,3 3|1,1 multiply all the numbers on the left hand side and u get 24.LCM=24 Rules= 1.always use the lowest rime number as much as ossible 2if the two numbers on the right hand side are not the same...it does not matter,just right the same number again at the bottom.this is not HCF. 3.Remember to multiply or your LCM is wrong.
