Yes. You can wire more than one gfci to a circut.
Yes. That can be done when one circut is in two rooms.
Your bathroom outlets might be connected to a GFCI Outlet. The Ground Fault Circuit Intercept outlet prevents you from electrocuting yourself in the odd chance that you drop an electrical appliance into the water of the bath tub while you're in it. Look around and see if there's one outlet with 2 buttons on it labeled Test and Reset and if you find one hit the Reset button and see if the other outlets start working.
The most number of outlets on a multi outlet extension cord are six. Any more then six outlets on an outlet extension cord and it would become dangerous.
Outlets are part of a "branch" circuit.
The definition of an outlet in Article 100 of the National Electrical Code book (US) is: "Outlet. A point on the wiring system at which current is taken to supply utilization equipment." You can have a receptacle outlet, lighting outlet, or some other hardwired equipment outlet. <<>> The definition of an outlet in Section 0 (Object, Scope and Definitions) of the Canadian Electrical Code book is: "Outlet. Yes, but you can feed multiple outlets from one GFCI outlet. Make the first outlet fed in the cicuit a GFCI. Search for GFCI outlet with Google, etc. and I'm sure you will find an explanantion of how. Most GFCI's come with instructions also.
I know of two CAbi outlets in Southern California: the Citadel Outlets in the city of Commerce, and Cabazon Outlets in Cabazon, just outside Palm Springs.

In shopping, you have retail and outlet. Retail is the price you pay when a product is new in the season, not on sale. GFCI Breakers are quite a bit more expensive than a GFCI outlet. More often than not a typical residence will need only a handful of GFCI outlets that combined together will be cheaper than a GFCI breaker. If you need to protect a series of outlets with GFCI protection you can simply connect the rest of the outlets on that same circuit downstream from the first outlet on the line and make that the GFCI. All you have to do is connect all the other outlets to the LOAD side of the GFCI outlet. If a GFCI fault occurs in any of the outlets down stream they will trip that very first GFCI plug you placed and keep you safe.

No, except that you insert the wires into the holes on the back of the outlet. The power in connects to the LINE side of the outlet and power out connects to the LOAD side of the outlet. This is clearly marked on the back of the outlet. This will not only protect the outlet with the GFCI installed but all outlets receiving their power from that GFCI. If you do not want to protect the outlets receiving power from the outlet then connect that outgoing wire to the LINE side also. But know that only the outlet with the GFCI will be protected and all other outlets will not be GFCI protected.
Usually no. In the regular home, outlets give out the same amount of power. Every outlet does have limitations. Most outlets can handle up to 15 Amps, however outlets in the garage or outdoors usually handle 20 amps.
