After you disconnect all of the cables, you have to remove the handlebar stem (loosen stem bolt half way, then knock the wedge loose by hitting the top of the bolt), remove the top part of the Gyro, then take off the top nut of the headset. Instead of a washer, you'll have the bottom part of the Gyro. You MUST replace the part of the Gyro that's under the headset nut with a headset washer or you'll never be able to keep your headset tight.
