the opposing sides are parallel to one another. the top side runs in the same direction as the bottom; the right side runs in the same direction as the left. This holds true for both a square (or any other rectangle) and for a parallelogram. a separate fact is that in a parallelogram, two opposing sides have a different angle from the other two. in a rectangle, all corners have the same internal and external angles.

Is a square a parallelolgram?

Yes. All squares are parallelograms but not all parallelograms are squares.

Which quadrilaterals has the same length diagonals?

parallelogram * * * * * Not true. Rectangles and squares do, but other parallelograms do not.

Are squares special parallelograms?

No

How many more sides does a parellogram have than a square?

They have the same number of sides, namely 4. A square is a special case of a parallelogram. All squares are also parallelograms but all parallelograms need not be squares.

Will a parallelogram always sometimes or never be a square?

Some parallelograms are squares - the ones which are equiangular (have equal angles) and are equilateral (have equal side lengths). All squares are parallelograms, but only some parallelograms are squares.
