Cut each brownie into four equal peices, then give each person one peice of each brownie.
They each get 3/4 of a brownie.
Since you are dividing 3 brownies among 4 friends, it will look like this:
(3 brownies) divided among (4 friends) which is the same as 3/4.
Cut one of the brownies into 4 equal pieces, and give everybody 2 and a quarter brownies.
Possibly. If shared equally they would get 4/5 of the original chocolate brownies each.

Assuming they split them equally, each gets 2/3 of a sandwich.
3/8
Each got 3/8.
3/5
It is 3/5 bags of apples each.
3/5=0.6 of a bag each.

Something's not right here. This defies the laws of physics if not the laws of candy. There is no way to give more than one person three fourths of a single object.
Easiest way to use all of the brownies: Give everyone a whole, a half and a fourth.Or, give everyone one and a half and no one gets the last one.Or, give everyone one and leave the other 3.Or cut a quarter off of each of the three extras and give three people one and three quarters and the last person 1 and the remaining three pieces which are each a quarter. There are many more ways but that about covers it.
Split is about three hours away from Dubrovnik.
