I'm not sure I really understand the question. If you have two functions, F1 and F2, then by definition of function you have: If X=Y then F(x)=F(y) for both F1 and F2 (F1+F2)(x) is defined as F1(X) + F2(X), and for every X there exists a unique F1(x) and F(2)(x) and the sum of these two numbers is obviously unique. If the question meant that the range of F1 and F2 were included in Z and how do you show that the range of F1 + F2 is also a subset of Z, then it's as simple as: the sum of two integers is an integer. and for the second part: the product of two integers is an integer.

What function of muscle tissue does not belong ability to shorten contractility pulls on bones stretchability?

Stretchability does not belong to the functions of muscle tissue. While muscle tissue is stretchable to a certain extent, its primary function is not related to stretching or elongating. The main functions of muscle tissue are the ability to shorten or contract (known as contractility) and to pull on bones (known as pulling or moving bones).

What is the slope of the line represented by each function what is the y-intercept for each function?

In the slope-intercept form you use the slope of the line and the y-intercept to the origin has a y-intersect of zero, b = 0, and represents a direct variation. All functions that can be written on the form f(x) = mx + b belong to the family of linear function.

Which organic compound does polypeptide belong to?

Polypeptides belong to the class of organic compounds known as proteins. They are composed of long chains of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. Polypeptides can vary in length and structure, ultimately folding into specific shapes that determine their function in biological processes. As a subset of proteins, they play crucial roles in various cellular functions and processes.

You are looking through a microscope at some cells each of the cells has a different structure What can you infer about these cells?

The cells likely belong to different types within the same organism, each serving a specific function. Variations in cell structure can indicate specialization for different roles. This diversity in cell structure contributes to the overall function and health of the organism.
