You can do an experiment on several circles of different diameters.
1) First, Measure the Diameter. The diameter is the distance across a circle. It can be be seen as cutting a circle in half. 2) When the diameter is too large to determine, estimate the radius. The radius can be seen as half of the diameter. Once you picture the radius, multiply it by 2. 3) Now you may find the Circumference. Once you find the Diameter of a circle, you multiply it by pi. Pi is the value of 3.14 . Once you multiply the Diameter by pi, you find the Circumference! For example, if a jogger estimated diameter of a circular path as 200 meters across, then circumference would be 200 times 3.14 . 4) Make sure to verify your units of measurement. If your Diameter is in meters, your circumference must be in meters also. You just found the Circumference of a circle!!!
First, you have to know the formula that connects the circumference of a circle to the diameter. You may have been out or asleep that day. Circumference = (pi) x (diameter) Plug the numbers you know into that formula. 23.56 = pi D D = 23.56 / (pi) That's it. We're sure you can handle the division and the rounding. Use 3.14 for (pi).
well it depends on the straw but here's how you can find it ... put a ruler down right on the circle (side) make sure it is symmetrical then measure that and thats the damiter the circumrence is three and one 7th on the diameter
You need to measure it with something flexible, like a string. If you know for sure it is a circle, it would be easier to measure the diameter, then multiply by pi.
Not sure what you mean by "math form of pi". Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. The same relation applies to spheres. Since spheres and circles existed before the first human being, the relationship also existed. Therefore, no human could have created pi.
i not sure by diddlybob
i am not sure but i could surly use some help
2 x pie = 6.2
I'm not sure, but that would make one big pi. <groan> Diameter x pi = circumference 27 ft x 3.141 = ___
I'm not quite sure what you are allowed to use here. If a diameter is given, then circumference = pi x diameter, or equivalently 2 x pi x radius. And the area is pi x r^2, where r is the radius But something tells me that's not what you meant. Some other possibilities for your question: 1. area/circumference = r/2 2. circumference/area = 2/r 3. Ratios are fractions, and pi is a ratio between the circumference of a circle and its diameter.

The circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter. Most people, especially students should remember the value of pi. Having given these clues do you think you can find the circumference. I am sure you can. Good luck!

I'm not sure what you mean by "length" of a circle. I'm going to take a wild guessand assume you mean the distance around the circle. The circumference of a circle (distance around it) is (pi) x (diameter). If the diameter is 16 centimeters, then the circumference is 16 pi = 50.2655 centimeters. (rounded)
The chord that passes through the center of a circle is called the diameter. The measure of this chord is also called the diameter, and is used in calculations such as finding the circumference of a circle (Circumference equals pi times the diameter).^^wrong...it is eitherSecant or tangent im pretty sure its SECANT though...
