Let's call Celsius and Fahrenheit C and F

Then:

F = C x (9/5) + 32

example:

10 C = 18 + 32 = 50 F

F to C is as follows:

C = (F - 32) / 1.8 or

C = (F - 32) x 5/9

example:

68 F = (68 - 32) / 1.8 = 20 C

So I guess you could use long division to divide by 9 or 5, for the 5/9 or 9/5.
